in the 70s Schauff manufactured bonanza bikes for the whole world

in Lagos the main interest is for Schauff-racing-bikes. But the bike-type
"high-riser" has been mainly exported to customers in Nigeria and Togo..

The first BMX bikes are produced and sold in Germany and the U.K. Shortly
after a BMX racetrack is built on factory grounds.
Additionally to it's own range, Schauff imports Race Inc., Vector USA, Johar
of California and Rickmann frames from the U.K.

The road racing bike is popular again. The elite-amateur sportsgroup City
Neuwied (would be GS 2 today) with technical director Hennes Junkermann is
sponsored by Schauff. It is the top-notch team in Germany for several years.
